caileak.com – Full Video Ateneo De Davao on Twitter Viral Incident. Ateneo de Davao University is investigating an incident of harassment on campus after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
The video shows a male student strangling another male student in the bathroom. The school has confirmed that both are their junior high students.
“An incident involving two ADDU High School students was videotaped and posted on social media. School officials have met with these students and their parents and the investigation is still ongoing.
The university also said that appropriate interventions are being implemented based on the Ateneo de Davao Middle School Student Disciplinary Code, DepEd Child Protection Policy, and the Data Privacy Act of 2012. “We ask everyone to respect the privacy of students and their families and not engage in misinformation,” AdDU said.
The university has been assured that it will maintain a safe learning environment for its students and that inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. If necessary, disciplinary action will be taken after legal action.
